Now, you face a big challenge: to integrate back into
life in the United Statesyour passport says: HOME
AGAIN!!
This seminar is a half day
interactive course for Foreign Service high school
students who have spent an extended period overseas. The
program will address issues related to the re-entry
process and concerns of the enrolled students.
Professional trainers will guide students through the
transition process and provide strategies for a
successful re-entry into American life and American
schools. An overview of the American school system will
be given. Guided discussion will include issues related
to re-adjustment and how to deal with them, as well as
reflections on the participants overseas experiences. A
panel of Foreign Service high school students who have
re-entered in the last year or two will share their
experiences and answer questions about school and other
teen issues. Lunch provided.
