College Admissions Testing: How to Do Your Best

Students ages 15 to 17 and their parents are invited to this workshop focusing on preparing for standardized college admissions tests.  The workshop is on Saturday, March 4, from 10 am to Noon at Oakwood Falls Church.  The presenter is Jessica Muse, a teacher and tutor who is a TCK who lived in Ivory Coast, India, Costa Rica, and Peru.

 

Topics to be covered include:  

How important are tests for colleges?  

Recent changes in the test prep landscape.  

Which test is right for you: SAT or ACT?   

When to begin test prep.  

Best ways to study: self-study and professional courses.  

Test prep challenges specific to third-culture kids (TCKs).  

Free resources for planning and study.   

 

The workshop is free for FSYF members.  Non-members pay $10.  Pre-registration is required.
