FSYF is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Although it has strong relationships with the U.S. Department of State Family Liaison Office (FLO), Office of Overseas Schools, and the Overseas Briefing Center (OBC), FSYF is NOT a U.S. Government entity and does not receive public funding. FSYF revenue comes from corporate sponsors, individual donors, membership dues, publications sales, and program fees.
Membership
A three-year family membership is $30. Members receive
advance notice of FSYF activities and member discounts. More
important, they are the backbone of the FSYF community and
help determine the direction of the organization.
Eligible families may participate in FSYF activities without
being members, but membership establishes a direct line of
communication to FSYF and is an important source of funding.
