Summary:

When crossing cultures, there is often a lot of focus on the do's and don'ts - how to greet someone, say thank you, etc. While it's helpful to know these things to show respect and prevent embarrassment, there is much more to bridging cultural differences that lies beneath the surface. In this workshop, we will dig into the values differences that underlie our behavior to gain a deeper understanding of diverse perspectives. Bring your curiosity and an open mind!

Learning Objectives:

  • Deepen awareness of our behaviors and underlying cultural values.
  • Explore differences in cultural values.
  • Discuss the impact of cultural values differences when communicating across cultures.
